- Modelled the folder hierarchy as a recursive FileTreeItem union, so files and arbitrarily nested folders share one type
- Rendered the tree recursively behind collapsible rows, letting any depth of folder open in place
- Wrapped the tree in a fixed sidebar with a responsive drawer, so it stays reachable on small screens
- Added a splash screen with an animated logo ring that respects prefers-reduced-motion and fades out on its own
- Built the component layer on Base UI and Tailwind CSS v4 rather than a heavier component kit
- Set up type-aware linting with oxlint-tsgolint alongside oxfmt, so formatting and type rules run in one check
